Jigawa state governor Mallam Umar A. Namadi FCA, a distinguished graduate and bonafide member of Bayero University Kano (BUK), took the spotlight at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), and Convention of BUK Alumni Association. The event, held today, 16th December 2023, at the convocation arena of Bayero University Kano, marked a pivotal annual reunion for old students, fostering a platform for dialogue, progress discussions, and the election of new executive members.
Governor Namadi, in his role as a bonafide member, not only graced the occasion but also delivered a compelling keynote address. Reflecting on his personal journey and the pivotal role BUK played in shaping his trajectory, the Governor emphasized the significance of unity among alumni and their collective responsibility in advancing the welfare, achievements, and addressing challenges faced by members.
The AGM and Convention served as a dynamic forum for old students to reconnect, share achievements, discuss challenges, and celebrate the strides made since their time at BUK. The convivial atmosphere underscored the enduring camaraderie among the alumni, showcasing the resilience of the BUK community.
