Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi, has approved the appointment of Dr. Bilkisu Dalhatu Isma as the pioneer Executive Secretary of the newly established Jigawa State Residents Identification Management Agency.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.
Until her appointment, Dr. Isma is the Head Research and Development, National Identity Management Commission. The new Executive Secretary served as a Jigawa State Coordinator, National Identity Management Commission from 2013 to 2014.
"A former Business Development Manager at Freedom Radio Kano, obtained her first degree from the famous University of Lagos, where she graduated with a B.Ed. Adult Education in 1992, then earned a Master’s in Public Administration from University of Abuja in 1997 and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Policy Analysis also from the University of Abuja in 2019" the statement said.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Industrialist and Corporate Administrators and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management Nigeria Academy of Education.
The Statement stated that, the appointment of the appointee is based on merit, competence and personal integrity.
"While congratulating the appointee it is hoped that, she would work hard to justify the confidence reposed in her and put in her best towards the development of the State" the SSG said.
The appointment take immediate effect.
