Governor Namadi Commemorates Maiden Launch of N50,000 Scholarship for 150 Masters and Law Students.

 Governor Namadi attended the inaugural ceremony of the Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000) scholarship, benefitting one hundred and fifty Masters and Law students. The event was organized by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Students' Affairs Amb Muhammad Salisu Seeker , under the auspices of the Dan-Modi Students Care Program.

This scholarship, designed to empower less privileged students, is a pivotal step in addressing the issue of out-of-school children. The initiative goes beyond monetary aid, encompassing the distribution of school uniforms, books, and other essential materials to further support students in their educational pursuits.

The Danmodi Student Care Program also focuses on recognizing the achievements of dedicated students across various fields who have made substantial impacts on their communities.

Governor Namadi, in his address, pledged to elevate this initiative to greater heights. He said that the state government already paid a total of 24 million as support for the law students who were at the Nigerian law school apart from N100,000 for each student as logistics and the the N50,000 token. He reiterated that the education sector was part of his 12-point campaign agenda and as suhc his administration rated it among it's priorities.

He said "This is to ensure  that no student who had finished his or her LL.B is unable to go to law school and ensure that all our students who have finished university get the opportunity financially...And those pursuing their master's and the PhD.Ds, these were people whoe were left out, but also I want to ensure you that this administration is ready to provide for our students who want to go for their post-graduate studies."

In a recent development, the Jigawa state Government has demonstrated its commitment to education by increasing the number of Jigawa state students by 100 percent. Furthermore, a significant financial allocation of over 1,600,000,000 has been dedicated to supporting medical students studying abroad.

The occasion has in attendance the speaker of the Jigawa state House of Assembly Rt Honourable Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, speaker of the Benue state House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Aondona Dojah, who had been in the state on a visit, commissioner of health Dr. Muhammad Abdullahi Kainuwa; commissioner of works Engr. Gambo Shu'aibu, party chieftains, teaming beneficiary students and other attendees.
