GOVERNOR NAMADI SPEARHEADS VISIONARY INITIATIVE: LAUNCHES GROUND -BREAKING CEREMONY FOR 1,500 HOUSING UNITS.

Today, Governor Mallam Umar A. Namadi FCA of Jigawa State presided over the landmark ground-breaking and blocklaying ceremony for the construction of 1,500 housing units in Fanisau, Dutse, Jigawa state Capital.

The Jigawa State Executive Council had previously sanctioned the development of 1,500 semi-detached houses, featuring 3 and 2 bedrooms, at an affordable rate which was approved to construct the first phase of the project at N5,984, 880, 883.30k. These residences will be strategically distributed across the Jigawa State Emirate Council headquarters and various developmental areas.

The breakdown of the housing distribution is as follows:
- 600 houses in Dutse
- 200 houses in Hadejia
- 100 houses in Gumel
- 100 houses in Ringim
- 100 houses in Kazaure
- 100 houses in Birnin Kudu
- 150 houses in Babura
- 150 houses in Kafin Hausa

Dutse witnessed the commencement of this ambitious project with the ground-breaking ceremony, symbolizing the collective commitment to providing quality housing solutions for the people of Jigawa State.

Notable dignitaries present at the event included the Honourable Minister of Defense and former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar; Deputy Governor, Engr. Aminu Usman Gumel; Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin; Deputy speaker of the state house of Assembly, Alhaji Sani Isyaku Gumel; Jigawa state APC chairman; Alhaji Aminu Sani Gumel; Chief of Staff to the Jigawa State Government House; Honourable Commissioners; Emir of Dutse; Alhaji Hamim Nuhu Sunusi, Local Government Council Chairmen, and other esteemed attendees.

The occasion marked a significant step forward in addressing the housing needs of the community and fostering sustainable development in Jigawa State.
