The Wife of the Jigawa State Governor, Her Excellency, Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi reiterated the present administration's resolve to support the women considering the pivotal role they played before, during and after elections.
Mrs. Namadi gave this assurance while flagging off the disbursement of N50,000 each to the first batch of 2,700 women, that will benefit from Her Excellency's 27 LGA Women Empowerment Scheme, with the theme "Empowering Women, Empowering Humanity," held at Banquet Hall Government House, Dutse.
Speaking at the flag off ceremony, Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi said at least 100 women were selected from each of the 27 Local Government Areas of Jigawa State to receive the empowerment support, as part of the present administration's commitment towards ensuring poverty alleviation, wealth creation and provision of job opportunities that will uplift the living conditions of the resident
